Safe Options Limited

We have optimised and helped to maintain the high rankings of safeoptions online store since 2001. The site dominates the front page of Google for all it's targeted keywords.

Initially driven by Actinic Catalog, the site is now based on the Sellonthe.net e-commerce system. The upgrade to sellonthe.net enabled the Safeoptions team to add detailed specifications to products pages.

The sellonthe.net system displays a warning message if a customer tries to purchase a product that is out of stock, this reduces the number of cancelled orders and credit card refund charges.

The Safeoptions customer service department make full use of the sellonthe.net customer support system, which enables multiple operators to quickly deal with customer enquiries from any PC in the office. Standard reply templates enable operators to reply quickly to customer enquiries, whilst offering the flexibility to enter a detailed response.

The navigation of the site is continuously reviewed to ensure that customers can locate the product that they require quickly and without having to call the customer services team on the prominently displayed phone number. When a customer does require telephone assistance, the customer can be guided swiftly to any product page by entering the 3 or 4 digit product number in the search box.

The Safeoptions site is rendered entirely using CSS, something that makes it virtually unique amongst e-commerce websites. The templates validates as XHTML 1.0 Transitional, and whilst it looks at its best in IE6, it renders well on all modern browsers.
